Try It Seminar
This seminar is for anyone who has never trained in agility and wants to see what it's all about. Great for complete novices or for folks that dabble in it occasionally and wish to spend an afternoon with their canine friend.
Participants will be introduced to the sport of agility and the basic training techniques to get our dogs to play with us. Using positive methods and food & toy rewards, we will show you how to teach your dog to learn and focus more on you, the handler. You and your dog will get to try the basic pieces of equipment used in an agility trial as well as see some demonstrations from dogs that have been training for a few years.
It will be beneficial to you if your dog already knows some basics like sit, down and stay. These are not required but they do help you to maintain control of your dog and have an enjoyable experience. No aggressive dogs will be allowed to stay and all dogs must be up to date on vaccinations per Indiana law.
Register by May 7th and pay $25 otherwise it's $30 the day of registration. You can download the registration packet here.
